Description: For this modern home renovation, we built custom kitchen cabinetry with solid straight-grain fir and frosted glass doors that slide on a track system. A fir refrigerator surround created overhead storage and utilized vertical door hinges. Underneath the stairwell, we created more storage with a hidden door disguised as a bookshelf. On the second floor master bath, we installed matching fir cabinetry with drawers custom-made to fit around plumbing. Floating shelves made from thick reclaimed heart pine were added in the home office, as well as walnut bench seating built into two alcoves with drawers underneath.
