Woodberry Kitchen
Location: Baltimore, MD
Date Completed: December 2018
Description: The focal point of Woodberry Kitchen's renovation was a massive, deep blue booth unit. The backs of the seats, wall caps, and trim are salvaged heart pine. We upholstered custom cushions for the seats as well. In another alcove of the restaurant, we built a similar unit with upholstered seating and a feature wall with painted shiplap. The tables we built throughout the restaurant are made of reclaimed oak with an ebony rub-through finish. We also built a custom entryway vestibule to protect the main dining room from cold air when the front door is opened. This vestibule was made from salvaged steel windows that we welded and retrofitted together. We made panels and a ceiling from glass and heart pine to complete the unit.
